Japanese font rendering issue in PDF reader

We are using angular PDFMake library to create PDF. when we create Japanese characters are not displaying properly some of the characters are not rendering properly. Could you please help this issue.

Same PDF when we open in browser it is fine only when we open in PDF acrobat reader we are facing this issue.

    If the problem is only when you open the PDF in Adobe Reader, it will be related with fonts and encoding. Take a look at the following thread in the Reader forum: Problems displaying russian characters in Adobe Reader

    It deals with Russian characters, not Japanese, but the underlying problem is likely to be the same.

    Thank you for your replay. I have attached screenshot below, i am using Adobe reader DC and also i tried all other adobe reader like X ect. Only few character are not displaying. But when i open the same file other pdf reader  other than adobe it looks fine. What could be the issue here.

    Could you please help me on this issue.

    I'm not an expert on Adobe Reader, but I can read Japanese. The X in a box indicates that the font doesn't have the correct glyph for that character.

    Japanese is written using a combination of kanji (Chinese characters) and kana (Japanese phonetic symbols). There are more than 2,000 kanji in common use, but many more with specialized uses, including personal names. The final line of your screenshot ends with 行 which means "to". That suggests it's a personal name that uses non-standard kanji.

    You might get better help from an expert in the Acrobat Reader forum.
