My Wordpress site is loading slow PLEASE HELP

Hello, for a couple of weeks now I have been working on a Wordpress site using an Elementor theme. My team has tried

  • Optimizing and reducing all image sizes 
  • Cleared any extra CSS, Java, HTML script 
  • Cleared cache files 

I’d really appreciate it if someone would share some guidance on how to solve the issue of slow loading time. (Almost 8 seconds)

    Ok, so you see this as a coding forum not confined to Adobe products. That's good to know.

    But we are faced with a different problem. Creating a WordPress site doesn't involve coding, so this isn't any kind of coding question. Valerie isn't likely to get much help from here, even if it were packed with coders eager to answer coding question. Valerie, you may get a more useful response, from people who work with Wordpress, in a Wordpress forum of some kind. Good luck!

      Nevertheless, the forum is provided by Adobe for discussion of issues related to Adobe products. The original question needs to be understood in such terms, or deleted as inappropriate, surely?

      So, it's not an inppropriate question based on the history of this board, which, I suspect, was created by the user community for coding questions that aren't specific to an Adobe product, like this thread.

       

      When the forums migrated to Khoros a few years ago, originally "Coding Corner" was not restored. However, after a few months, someone in the community (or at Adobe) decided to recreate the board.
