Need a JavaScript to sort through 3500 page document

Howdy!

I receive large pdf files (2500-3500 pages) consisting of repair orders of varying legnth(1-8 pages). At the bottom of each repair order (RO's) is a field that uses the words, "Total Amount Due" or "Please Pay This Amount." (RO's come from 4 diff companies and each is slightly different). 

I need to find only the RO's that have a dollar amount. It will read $0.00 for or be blank if no customer cash was collected. Hence, I need to find any RO with an amount >=$0.01.

 

I have no JavaScript skill at all. 

Looking for direction.

    I can tell you from experience that a script won't be able to process that many pages. It will cause the application to freeze and probably crash. The solution is to do it using a stand-alone tool, unless it's possible to use a redaction pattern to identify those strings.
