newbie Actions window question

Question

When i type function in the Actions window it shows in red.

The example that I am following shows in blue. The code does not work and i am unsure why my Actions window renders some in red and stop(); for example in blue.

Can any wise member tell me why this is?

I am working in Animate and not Flash Pro.

What kind of project, HTML5 or ActionScript 3 on timeline or AS3 Class/Interface file?

Red is always a flag color so I'd be curious as well. That and my default coloring for function is purple:

Have you changed any colors in the Code settings panel under Coloring?
