32-bit versus 64-bit license key for ColdFusion 8 standard

Hi,

We currently have a number of Windows 2003 servers running the 32-bit version of ColdFusion 8 standard. We have stood up new servers running Windows 2008 and would like to install the 64-bit version of ColdFusion 8. We'll be retiring the older servers. But our attempts to use the older license key have failed. Do we need to purchase new licenses for the 64-bit install?

Thanks,

Ramon Scott

    Correct answer Dave Watts

CF 8 Standard isn't available in a 64-bit version. CF 8 Enterprise is, as are CF 9 Standard and Enterprise.

Thank-you Dave. I should have done more due diligence on that.
