64 or 34 bit on Mac os

Hi

I just about to download CF for the first time, I'm a brand new user. I am planning on using it with My SQL, I have a mac with 10.5.2 Leopard.

What's the best version for me to get the 64 or 32 bit version? is the difference just in performance?

Also, does this version include the new 8.01 update? and finally does it work correctly on Mac OS 10.5 without making any changes? I've heard a few people say that it didn't work properly on mac os without making changes.

What Mac do you have? What processor (in About This Mac under the Apple menu)?

Only certain processors are 64-bit.

Yes, if you download CF today, it will include the 8.0.1 update. And yes, it will install and run on Mac OS 10.5.2 without making any changes.
