Question

A connection to the RDS Server could not be established because the webserver was unreachable.

Hi,

   Im using coldfusion 8 and coldfusion report builder for reporting. I have enabled RDS in Coldfusion Server.

Im using IIS and port 80. Hostname: http://localhost . RDS security the same as my CF admin for username and password.

.cfr and .cfm are working without connecting the RDS. But i want the RDS to connect to my datasource directly so that i can

only make a query on Coldfusion Report Builder. Please help me on this because I really want to understand this thing.

    Can you show us the server configuration you entered? Does RDS work outside the report buider, i.e. in CFBuilder or the Adobe Eclipse Extensions?

    It is generally not done to start bumping threads within 24 hours. Remember this is an internatinal forum and for most users you are posting in the middel of the night.

       I haven't tried yet for the RDS to work outside report builder. For the server configuration,

    I set up in Coldfusion administrator.

    Server Name: NO-HEEL

    Port 1521.

    In report builder:

    Decription: LOCALHOST

    Host Name: http://localhost

    Port: 80

    User Name: admin

    Password: cf

    Your help would be appreciated.

    (i have the same password for my CF admin and report builder(for rds))
