Accessing database on Network Attached Storage

Hey guys, I have a database on a network attached storage. I can't browse for it with CF Administrator, but using the UNC I get permissions errors. Anyone know how to get CF datasources to work on network attached storage?

If this is something like and Access DB, then you would need to run the CF server under a user/password combination that has access to the file share.

Create an admin user on the CF server machine

Under the CF service, set the user/password to match

restart CF

add the the same user on the file server where the database is

add the user to the share permissions to "modify"

add ther user to the file permission to "modify"

Your database should sit on a  server and have a IP or (name if your using local windows network). Ask your network guy for help on this
