Activate ColdFusion 2021

Hi,

 

I need help in activating the coldfusion 2021. I tried activate thru online and offline, unfortunately both showing failed to activate (online) and activation response file is invalid.

 

Do you guys facing any issue on this? Tried restarted the CF services but still same, its in trial version.

It's hard to connect with Coldfusion expert thru the live chat.

Please help.

      I have a similar issue. In my case, the server is on-line, and accepts the reg code. I then hit "Activate" and it says it activated. However, on restart it is still in Developer mode. There is no way to access the "Generate Activation Request" unless the operation times out, which does not happen. Is there a way to force the generation of the activation request. other than possibley pulling the network cable from the server or disabling the interface?

      Todd, look at the activation.log in the cf logs folder.  There may be some info there about why either attempt failed. Or if it really is that the activation "took" but something else during startup makes it fail, take a look at the coldfusion-error.log and coldfusion-out.log--especially the messages during startup. 

       

      ND, that may help you also but perhaps not, if your problem really is with the file returned to you from Adobe in an offline activation.
