Add external file as resource

When adding resources to a project, I can only add folders as found in the project's Properties --> ColdFusion Project --> Additional Source.

This allows me to add aditional folders, however I would like to add only a single file from that directory and not the 297 that currently reside there.

How can I link a single file?

Correct answer Adam Cameron.

After you create the project, go File > New > File > Advanced > Link...

Hi Adam,

Yep, that's it! Thanks for that

BTW, do you know how I can exclude a bunch of files or a subdirectory from an included resource folder?

For instance, I would like to exclude my 'images' folder which has thousands of jps in it. Currently, when I search the entire project, it takes FOREVER because of all the jpgs. Do you know how I can exclude the 'images' folder?

There is not such functionality at present, but I'm sure there's an enhancement request for it.  I cannot find the reference for it though. I'll try to track it down and post here, so you can vote for it.
