OK, I have a G4 Mac running OSX 10.4.8 and have just downloaded and installed CF 7.02 developer edition on my Mac. I opted for ColdFusion's built-in web server and the installation seemed to go fine following David Stutler's Tutorial. However, everytime I try to log into the Admin Page ( http://127.0.0.1:8500/CFIDE/administrator/index.cfm) I enter my password and I get a page with '500 null' on it…

I have scoured Adobe's website to find a reference but have found no help whatsoever. Why is there no PDF guide on setting this stuff up?

Found my answer! It seems that I was running JVM 1.5.0 instead of JVM 1.4.2 8-P

Followed the instruction on this webpage http://www.talkingtree.com/blog/index.cfm/2006/5/17/CFMX-MacOSX-JVM142 and all if fine now ;-)
