Adobe - krishnapreddy_adobe - I just purchased CF Builder 3 and it did not state that El Capitan is a requirement and is not compatible with 10.10.5. It's a pretty lame answer to say "[upgrade your OS]"! Some software isn't compatible with El Capitan yet...

THIS SHOULD BE FIXED IN THE INSTALLER... IT'S CLEARLY A POORLY WRITTEN REGEX THAT SEES 10.5 in 10.10.5.

a work around for this issue https://justindaigle.com/blog/2010/02/tutorial-change-mac-os-x-system-version/, change your OS version temporarily to 10.10.6 and run the installer, then change it back

This happened due to version check failure on this particular version(10.10.5). Please upgrade to OS X El Capitan and then install it. It will install fine.
