Hello i am trying to setup my testing server and rds login on Dreamweaver along with ColdFusion 8 and i keep getting an error when trying to do the rds login that says.

My coldfusion server is not running but i have tested it and i can sign in fine thru the CF adm console, could somone please help thanks in advance.

I've found that using Cold Fusion 8 as the username, and whatever password you set up when you installed Cold Fusion will get you past the RDS login screen and show your datasources. Good luck!

I cant get as far as the login window i can login to my CF admin okay but when i try and setup the testing server it looks like it will work then when i click on the rds login it says my server might not be running which it is when i check my services and the coldfusion server is running fine.

Any ideas?

You do need the CF server running to test the rds
