ajax call redirects to adminstrator

I have an application that has been stable for a couple of years now and today a couple of our ajax calls are redirecting to cf administrator log in?

any have this happen??

running CF10 u10 on win server 2k8 r2 as a virtual machine

have reviewed the code and there have been no change to this production code since the beginning of the year.

Still don't know the root cause of this but, rebooting the production server cleared the issue.
