Attempting CFLDAP for the very first time..

Hello, everyone.

I'm going to be learning as much as I can about CFLDAP.  Pointers appreciated.

Some questions:

1. Is it possible to import/export data between LDAP and an Excel spreadsheet?  Or XML?  Other formats?

2. If I don't know any structure values (like organization, etc), I will need to put something in the "start" attribute; are there any values that can be used, if not obviously known?  (My practice LDAP server hasn't been set up, yet.. just curious.)

3. There was a third question in my mind when I started this thread, but I've forgotten it.  I'll come back and edit this, if/when I remember.

Still can't remember that third thing that I was going to ask.  Still waiting for my "practice server" to be set up.

In the meantime.. I understand that AD is LDAP.  Is there a way for me to query my local machine as practice until the server is set up?
