Can Coldfusion 2016 spider a site out of the box? If not can solr that ships with CF spider a site

    Correct answer Dave Watts

Neither CF 2016 nor Solr crawl a site "out-of-the-box". But you can write code in CFML that can crawl a site using CFHTTP, or you can use Apache Nutch to crawl a site and write results to Solr's storage. Both of those answers are kind of lame, but there you are.
