Can't install mandatory update

I am having trouble installing the CF 10 Mandatory Update.    My domain account that I am logged in as is a member of the local Administrator group on my Windows 2008 Server,  but it errors out saying I must "run as Administrator".    I even logged in with the local administrator account and still get the same error.   How do I get around this?

It is the MS DOS prompt that you have to "run as Administrator". So right-click on the DOS prompt and run it as Administrator. Then, after the DOS prompt, proceed as usual, for example, java -jar etc.

Help me out here.   I am running Windows Server 2008 and I don't see a DOS prompt anywhere.     Are you asking me to type "cmd" at the Run line to get into a DOS box?   If so,  how do I tell it to Run As Administrator?
