Can'y Access CFadministrator

Question

Installed CF9 on WinXPPro. Going to http://localhost/CFIDE/administrator/index.cfm brings up login form, but submitting form just says Waiting for Local Host for a long time and then

The request has exceeded the allowable time limit Tag

. I'm sure this is something easy. Thanks for any help

I don't know if this is related but during install I got this error:

Web Server Connector Configuration Error
Status: ERROR
Additional Notes: ERROR - JNDI port 2932 for server coldfusion is not active

The Web Server Config Tool shows: localhost coldfusion IIS All

In IIS website named CFIDE has C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\ for home directory and web site is started.
The CF Application server is started in Services

If I use the wrong password I get 'Invalid password. Please try again' so "something" is working.

Are there firewall settings that need to be changed?
