CF 9 import wizard failed

The error is "Server Monitoring And API is not available in this edition of ColdFusion server."  I can't get to CF9 admin now without it trying to run the import wizard, which failed with the above message.  How can I turn off the import wizard so that I can continue?

I ran into the same error trying to install CF9 Standard upgrade onto a machine that was running CF8 Standard.  While I was able to get the configuration wizard to go away and give me the Administrator, like you, none of my datasources or other settings had carried over.  However, I was able to get everything manually imported. I posted what I did to get everything imported over at my blog:

Sorry about posting a link, but I am tired and don't feel like retyping the "fix" again!

Can you detail the sequence of events leading up to this error?

Ran installer.  It went through the install process up to the import settings wizard.  It stayed on the import wizard screen for quite a while, then gave the above error.  Afterward, any time I tried to go into the CF admin, the import wizard tried to run and I couldn't get past it.  I can't remember ever having a  CF upgrade where the migration wizard worked.

I did find the xml file to turn on running the import wizard.  It was in ColdFusion9\lib\adminconfig.xml

Same exact occurrence here upgrading from CF8. License key entered was for Standard Edition. Uninstalled CF9. Re-installed choosing "30-Day Trial" edition. Install and migration successful. Then entered license key.
