CF 9 to 9.01 Developer Edition

Hi Folks -

I am looking for some help, ideas, or just a confirmation that it can or can't be done.

I'd prefer the help though. 😉

I am currently running a Win 7 box with Apache 2.2 and CF 9 Developer edition.

I just d/led the CF 9.01 update to get the cleaner S3 functionality.

I install the .jar file into the updates folder (per the instructions and all the other changes),I restart my apache server, and the CF server (several times at this point), and the version still reads 9,0,0,251028  not 9,0,1,x.

Any ideas or help is appreciated.

Thanks,

Doug

    hi Doug,

Sounds like you are trying to install a cumulative hotfix rather than update 1. You are on Windows so I expect you need to download and run EXE

    http://download.macromedia.com/pub/coldfusion/updates/901/ColdFusion_update_901_WWEJ_win.exe , see:

All the best with that, Carl.

    Hi Carl -

    Bingo!!

I was doing the cumulative hot fix and not the proper full update!

Thank you. Sometimes it helps to have outside ideas!!

    Thank you again!!
