I'm running a developer version of CFMX7 and was looking through the Administrator today and under Datasources I ran accross the cfusion_getodbcdsn not supported in MX error with the following code (error on line 22). Anyone know what this means or why the file is written in . . . . something else? Maybe I copied over the file with some MS file . . . unlikely, but you never know. In this file: Inetpub\wwwroot\CFIDE\administrator\datasources\index.cfm

I believe your issue is that you installed CFMX7's CFIDE over an existing version of CF5 or earlier. CFMX does not have the function cfusion_getodbcdsn. That is the cause of the error. Install a clean CFMX7 CFIDE if you have a copy or re-install CFMX7 completely after uninstalling and deleting.

I get a similar error if I try to open the CF5 cfadmin datasource page from CFMX7:
Function cfusion_getodbcdsn is not supported in ColdFusion MX.

The error occurred in C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\cfide5\administrator\datasources\index.cfm: line 23
