CF Meta Tag screwing up table-less latout

I have developed a table-less page in html. Everything looks great in both browsers. But when I upload it to the CF server, the meta tag (<META NAME="ColdFusionMXEdition" ...) screws up the layout in IE. Has anyone ran into this issue before?
