I was just told by a person at Adobe who seemed to be just a "Talking Head" that CF MX 7 Standard Ed. can only handle one website and that if I am hosting more than one site I have to buy Enterprise Edition. Can this be true?

We have been running CF 4.5 on an old NT box, hosting three fairly light duty CF sites, using IIS 4 to handle all the particulars (IP's, Default Directory / page, etc.). (Time to upgrade eh?)

The new server will be running Windows Server 2003.

Someone please tell me that we should never listen to "Talking Heads" unless one of them is David Byrne!

CFMX Standard is limited to one server (2 CPUs). Maybe that's what they meant by "site"?

Thanks Menace, So no problem setting up more than one site in IIS / CFMX7, just as we could in IIS / CF4.5, right??

Actually the person I talked to at Adobe seemed to be referring to printed materials (thus the 'talking head" reference) which (on the Adobe website anyway) really are misleading. I refused to believe her answer and asked to speak to a specialist. At that point she gave me a phone number for an entirely different company -- Programmer's Paradise, which yielded about the same. The guy really didn't know much about CF MX except "it's expensive isn't it?", but said he knew someone he could call and he would get back to me. That was three hours ago.
