CF Pages failing to Refresh after db updates

I have an application written in CF 6.1 running on IIS 6, Windows 2003 Server that is failing to refresh properly after performing db updates. If I right-click and refresh, the page is painted normally. This appears to occur at random and in different areas of the app. Even clicking the logout button sometimes provides a blank screen. Any ideas? Though a lot of testing of different and new systems, I've ruled out - fast hardware, ssl on/off, ms patches, SAV, Array cache, IIS, firewalls. Thanks
