CF Report Builder Keep Losing Styles

I have a strange problem with CF Report Builder, latest version, for CF8. Whenever I open a .CFR file for modifications, all my styles, alignments, and sometimes even fonts are reset and I have to re-do EVERY element on the report by applying the correct style to it. I turned off default style, doesn't make a difference. Has anyone else experienced this?

I would like to know if anyone has figured out how to let a ReportBuilder report reference a StyleSheet, rather than putting style information into every single <td>. View Source after running an HTML format if you don't know what I mean. Thanks.

Hey sam,

You know I think I've had that problem with my RIGHT aligned fields, but sometimes they persist and other times they don't. I was going to write a bug report, but I'm having a hard time recreating it on a consistent basis.

I did however write a bug report for not being able to turn off the borders to rectangles, even when the "Line Size" is set to none.

I reported this bug to Adobe a few weeks before the ColdFusion 8.0.1 release came out. I'm not sure if that was fixed in time or not. I haven't really tried it since.

I found a new interesting bug though. In the Developer version, running on Windows/IIS, all fields on the report are fine. In production, running on a MAC/Apache, some fields get cut off, even though the field is definitely big enough for the amount of data - anyone come across this?

It seems I'm running into the same problem as you. Were you ever able to find a solution?

I gave up on it. I just use the default style for everything, and then adjust individual attributes for each element. It has something to do with alignment. If a field is aligned LEFT, I think the styles will hold, otherwise they get lost. It's definitely a bug.
