CF Server down for almost once a week

Recently, our cf servers have down for several times.

We have two CF servers for one Site. What strange is that when one server down, the other will also down after several minutes. We need to restart cf server.

We find nothing special in the log.

Our environment: Win 2003 + IIS6 + CF8

Has anyone caught a simillar issue or can someone provide any clue?

We have the same problem. Have used CF 7 for past few years. We were having to restart CF server (service) most days. This week we purchased very high spec Windows servers with CF 9. Once out clients started using it, server (jrun problem mostly) would not stay up more than 5 to 10 minutes without hanging. After 2 days of this, and many complaints from customer, we repointed our domain name back to CF7 server. CF seems to me to to totally flakey and unreliable? Or am i missing something?

CF isnt flakey and unreliable, either the server setup you have is, or the application(s) you are running have bugs, or worse both.

Don't forget there are thousands and thousands of sites running on CF without issues.

Post some of the *-out.log file that surrounds your crash time.

As well as the CF logs (which are the ones you list above), there are also the JRun logs to consider, which are in the [CFusion]/runtime/logs dir, or [JRun]/logs dir.
