Rebooted server and now CF services won't start! Tried rebooting again - same problem. Running CF 7. Running under local system host. Running under Win2K3. Service was running fine before initial reboot. Our SQL server is running on a seperate machine. Our network appears fine.

Event Log (System) says: The ColdFusion MX 7 Application Server service terminated with service-specific error 2 (0x2).
Event Log (Application) says: The ColdFusion MX 7 Application Server service could not be started. Check the server "coldfusion" log files for more information.

CF-out.log says: FATAL ERROR in native method: No transports initialized
CF-err.log says: Transport dt_socket failed to initialize, rc = 509. Transport dt_socket failed to initialize, rc = 509.

Help!

Coldfusion is actually a Java application, which is why this link is applicable.

Look in your Coldfusion application directory, under the bin folder. What's in jvm.config?
