CF10 unable to connect to Oracle 12g

Hello,

ColdFusion 10 (Enterprise) and Oracle 11g were configured and was working well. However recently Oracle 11gR2 was upgraded to version 12c, and this broke many things. Mainly, the data source connections that were setup in CF Admin page to query databases on Oracle does not work any more.

Is there any action required from our side to update anything so that I can continue querying Oracle databases on 12g, as we used to do earlier on 11gR2? We use JDBC driver to connect.

Or does Adobe CF10 not support Oracle 12g at all, and require an update to a new CF version?

Hi Arun,

ColdFusion 10 is only tested and supported with Oracle 10g R1-R2 including RAC support and Oracle 11g R1-R2 including RAC support. Please see the support matrix here
