CF7 MX Undelivr folder cannot empty

Hey Teddy, as for CF holding a lock on the files, first I really do think you’ll find that if you stop CF that you will then be able to manipulate the files/folder.

Second, I do think that this issue was addressed in a hotfix back in the CF 7 timeframe. Since CF is no longer supported by Adobe, the page that used to link them is no longer available on the Adobe site, but I found this version at archive.org:

You’ll want to make sure you use the right hotfix for your version of CF (so don’t apply a hotfix for 7.0.2 if you are still running only 7.0).

As for determining if you may have already indeed applied some hotfix you may see, you can do that but it’s not as simple as it may seem. I did a blog entry talking about how to determine the hotfix version applied on your server, and the approach works just as well for CF7 as for 6, 8, or 9:
