CF8 - Ajax question

Cool new forums!

I have been tinkering around with the ajax functionality in cf8 and it's friggen sweet.

I want to try and add a little code like I see on some pages where people vote thumbs up or thumbs down right there on the page for a news article or something.  The page doesn't refresh when the user votes so I'm assuming it's ajax.

Can I do this with one of cf's built in ajax functions?

    Maybe a tutorial could help me?  I just want to be pointed in the right direction.

    Even a book title.  Please don't tell me to go to google or amazon.
