cfajaxproxy multiple input search form

Hi

I'm just starting to map out a new search form for my website. What I want to do is have a form with multiple inputs/search criteria (checkboxes, list select etc) and as the user selects specific criteria the results are automatically shown without page refresh. I've seen lots of implementations of a single text box retrieving results (e.g. search keywords showing beneath the box) but not a complete multiple input search form retrieving data via ajax.

Is it possible?

Any pointers?
