CFBuilder 2 install new software dialog never appears

I've installed CF Builder 2 trial edition.  The trial has now expired.  When going to the "Install New Software" menu option, the dialog never appears.  Even during my trial, I could never get it to appear.  No error is displayed either.  I'm running Windows 7 Home Edition.  I already tried doing a "-clean", but that did not resolve the issue.  Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Do you want to try starting the ColdFusion Builder with windows "Run as Administrator" option and then try?

Thanks for your reply, but I already tried that.  I also opened it from an elevated command prompt.  Neither worked.
