cfchart tooltip not working in Modal Dialog

Hello,

I am stuck with a very unique but confusing issue.

 

The charts toolip is not working as expected in modal dialog box. The tooltip is apearing under it rather than on top of it. The same is working fine when directly called in the web page.

Changing the "position" in json stye hasn't worked

Any help will be much approciated.

    What format is the chart that you are building?

    The charts are PNG formact . 

    Using the simple <cfchart> tag to create the charts and for style calling the .json file with the features. 

     

    I tried giving z-index =1000 to try make tooltip appear on top of chart but no such luck. 😞
