Hello

We are using CF 9 Enterprise and use CFCHART for reporting application, we are now getting a message below charts which says "WebCharts3D Invalid License", why is this message appearing ? what's the resolution ?

Please explain what you mean by "we are now ..." - are you saying it was working (ie, no watermark) and then stopped, or that it has alwasy displayed the watermark?  There have been problems in previous versions similar to this where the "developer version" watermark from WebCharts (not to be confused with the CF watermark) would begin to show up if you tried creating custom reports by calling the webchart objects and methods directly, instead of going through the CFCHART tag.  Once that happened then all webcharts reports, even those done through CFCHART, would get the watermark.  The only solution was to reinstall CF on that server.

    Clarifications

    1. Using CF 9 Enterprise version.

    2. "WebCharts3D Invalid License Message", does not appear on ALL the charts, only some charts have it. This has happened today while creating new charts, all the old charts do not show this message.

    3. Using XML to define properties for all the charts.

    4. The behaviour is random, I have 6 charts on a page, the message appears randomly below any of the charts and sometimes does not appear at all.

    Hopes this clarifies your questions...

Contacting Adobe support on this, will update you on the resolution if it's different from re-installing CF on server.
