CFEXCHANGECALENDAR MESSAGE

I'm developing an app that populates a calendar with an event being generated in the code.  The issue I'm having is when the calendar event is created (using MS Exchange and Outlook) it adds some characters to the message body that I don't want.

For every event I create the body gets automatically populated with the following lines:

When: Monday, December 24, 2018 8:30 PM-9:30 PM. UTC      (The date of the event)

Where: 10664 W Victory Rd                                 (The address of the event

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

I don't want those characters (in bold above) to show as I'm populating the body of the calendar event with my own HTML formatted text.  My question is how do I prevent the default message from being added to the calendar event?
