CFFILEUPLOAD problem with safari on mac

So, I'm working on implementing document upload capabilities on our (ColdFusion 10) site. I have a page that makes use of CFFILEUPLOAD, and have it to the stage where everything is working well, except when I try and upload from a Mac using Safari. I have successful uploads on Win7 and XP using current versions of Chrome/Firefox/IE/Opera/Safari, and on Mac using Chrome.

However, on Mac using Safari, I can select a file to upload, and when I click the upload button, it greys out like normal, but things stop there. The progress bar, which would usually start turning green and eventually get to 100%, does nothing. I'm not terribly fluent in Mac, so anything I do to try and figure this out is shooting in the dark.

Anyone have any idea where I can go with this?
