CFGRID Bug in Coldfuson 11

Question

I used my well working code from Coldfusion 9 to get it running under Coldfusion 11 and found a bug in CFGRID together with a bind statement:

Using bind the resulting javascript on the page has an error. The grid is not shown because the javascript is not executed. It seems that in the javascript a closing ' is missing.

This happens if more than one variable is passed with the bind statement.

It is a well-known, perhaps, notorious, problem. At least 2 bug reports have been filed. Apparently the Coldusion Team has fixed it, but wishes to release it with Update 1 of Coldfusion 11.

You should consider using alternative solutions to Coldfusion's User Interfaces, cfgrid, cflayout, cfwindow, cfinput and so on. The general consensus is that they often fail and, in terms of updates, lag behind libraries like JQuery.
