cfgrid issues after upgrade

I have two issues with cfgrid after upgrading from ColdFusion 8 to ColdFusion 9.1.  1)There is now an extra column showing up on the far right and I cannot figure out why or how to remove it.  2) The column headers do not show up until you mouse over them or refresh with F5

We considered scrapping cf grid and populating an html table but we need to maintain the sorting functionality without a lot of rework.
