cfgrid question

I have an application that uses a cfgrid for professors to enter grades into. There are two types of courses - individual courses (1 person per course) and those with more than one person.  I am seeing an unusual issue with the individual courses.  On my computer, the cfgrid produces a grid with one record.  I can add the grade and be on my way.

For one of my professors, on her computer the grid draws, but without the record to be edited - a blank grid.  I closed the browser, logged in myself and experienced the same thing.  We went to another computer near the professor's office and were each able to login and see the single record in the grid (and enter the grade).

What is it about her computer that would produce a grid with out the record?  I know the data intimately, so I know there is a record to be edited, just not on her computer.
