cfhttp with https

Hi all, we're having problems trying to cfhttp a page which is https:// and also is the IP address rather than domain name. (Since this is the old version of a website we can't use the domain name). I'm just getting 'Connection Failure' for the code below.

Any advice much appreciated,

The page I'm trying to cfhttp does display when browsed normally, but a popup is displaying about the secure certificate ('the name on the security certificate is invalid or does not match the name of the site').

I'm now wondering if this is causing the connection failure, any thoughts?
