CFLAYOUT not work in Firefox

Hi,

Has anyone tried CFLAYOUT (type=border) in Firefox 3.6.17? I have test-run the example posted in the official ColdFusion document (http://help.adobe.com/en_US/ColdFusion/9.0/CFMLRef/WSc3ff6d0ea77859461172e0811cbec22c24-7a22.html). The example is supposed to display five layout areas. What happens in Firefox is that all the five areas lay on top of each other, instead of side by side (see screenshot below). In IE, everything seems fine. My ColdFusion server is CF9.

Any suggestion or advice is greatly appreciated.

Natomas

I am having a problem that looks like the same thing.  I am running a development version of CF 10 on Windows7 and when I load the example for clayout copied right from the CF documentation using Firefox (29.0 currently) it fails.  It works on CF9 in both production and test and on both CF9 and CF10 with other browsers (IE, Chrome, Safari).    I am looking for someone to try the same example on their CF10 platform to help narrow down if it is a CF10, Windows, or browser issue.   Appreciate any tips, Thanks..

    ColdFusion 10 update 13, Firefox 29, Windows 7 SP1

The official example is working for me :

Can you try to access the same page from other machine (remotely) using firefox?

Thanks for checking it out.   To pursue the browser/system angle I was able to set up things so I could access my test CF10 from another system using Firefox and it worked there for me as well.  .

Now to further figure out what is wrong - I tried removing all the extensions and plugins from FF and that did not change anything.   I also re-installed Firefox and still have the problem.  I will keep on digging for an answer.

It's not much help, but that code works absolutely fine for me on both CF8.0.1 and CF9.0.1.  On Firefox 3.6.17.

Is your web server serving up all the JS & CSS that CFLAYOUT requires to work?
