cflayoutarea error

When I upload a simple page using cflayout (see attached code) to a website, then attempt to view the page in Internet Explorer 7 and Firefox, I get an "unknown tag" error. What am I doing wrong? I used cflayout code copied from a tutorial I found online.

    I copied your code and saved, tested in IE 7 and Firefox.

    Worked for me...

    Edit:
    I did comment out the "Dynamic" layoutarea be sure that page is not your problem !

    Well, it's not working for me, on either my computer or my website host. When you say you tested it, was that only on your computer, or did you upload it to a web hosting company? All other .cfm, .htm, and .html files work perfectly in both places for me. I'm wondering if perhaps my web hosting company isn't supporting cflayoutarea.

    I don't use web hosting, I'm the administrator of a large Intranet, so I just used it.
    Your web host is using CF8 ?
