cfmenuitems are getting truncated when using firefox

When using firefox, version 10 -13, the menu items (cfmenuitem) values are getting truncated.  The only solution I could find is to manually set a fixed style, which I REALLY do not want to have to do.  Any help with this issue would be much appreciated:

ColdFusion 9.X
