cftextarea not passing

Hello~

I have a cftextarea called suggestions in a cfform tag, but several users have gotten an error message on submission. Not all though! Any help would be great. Thanks.

    But, if they are accessing the results page without submitting the form first, why wouldn't any of the required fields above "suggestions" be catching the error? Suggestions is one of the last questions of the form, and there are several other required fields above it.
