cfx_imap4

I am currently attempting to use the cfx_imap4 tag, but the documentation is lacking example scripts. I have most of it figured out, but I'm really lost when it come to sending an email. What attributes are required to send, and what do they mean by 'send query'?? Any help would be appreciated.
