I can confirm that problem, Susan. And in fact, in creating a small, standalone demo of it, I just went ahead and opened a Tracker ticket for the issue, CF-4211277, in which I offer that sample code and I refer back to this post.

You should go add a vote there (and any optional comment), which will then cause you to be notified if Adobe (or anyone) responds to it.

After upgrading to CF 2021, has anyone experienced issues with SpreadsheetFormatCell, SpreadsheetFormatRow, & SpreadsheetFormatRows no longer recognizing org.apache.poi.hssf.util.HSSFColor classes? After upgrading to 2021, our spreadhseets are interpreting all color and fgcolor as black.
