Cold Fusion 9 - 500- Internal server error - Server Inactivity

We recently installed the Cold Fusion 9 Enterprise Edition - 64 bit version. It is running on Windows 2008 - 64 bit Operating system.  We are running IIS 7.5.


Everything works fine with one exception.  After a period of server inactivity we receive a 500- Internal server error when attempting to access the server Administrator page (CFIDE/administrator/index.cfm) a page.   After receiving the error if we click on the browser Refresh button, once, sometimes twice, the Administration page will load successfully.  From that point on we do not receive the error unless a period of server inactivity occurs.   Then we receive the 500- Internal server error again.


Any help would be appreciated

    Hi Oanh,

    Just try this and I got this from a different blog

    To fix this issue, grant the Network Service user in the IIS Worker Process

    Group (IIS_WPG) read and write access to the jrun_root\lib\wsconfig directory,

    including the sub-folders and files. Restart the IIS Admin Service and the JRun

    services after making the permissions change.
