Hi

I'm using ColdFusion MX 7
After installed this ColdFusion MX 7, i try to login to Administrator site
I go to All Program----Macromedia-----ColdFusion MX 7-----Administrator
The address is = http://127.0.0.1/CFIDE/administrator/index.cfm
I got this following error :
Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage

Most likely causes:
You are not connected to the Internet.
The website is encountering problems.
There might be a typing error in the address.

What you can try:
Check your Internet connection. Try visiting another website to make sure you are connected.

Retype the address.

Go back to the previous page.

More information

This is a fresh installation of cold fusion. Do i need to do some configuration in order to go to this Administrator site??

I have a (fairly) fresh installation of ColdFusion 8 and I cannot get anything to work after installing it, shutting down my Mac and restarting a day later.

I did use the ColdFusion Launcher. When I use the Start ColdFusion panel and click on "Webserver Connection Utility" It asks for a password for my user account.

It fails at that point, saying it is the incorrect password. Believe me, I know my password.

This is a text installation for building CF data-centric websites. I could use Apache and MySQL but I would like to try CF.

Check and see if the ColdFusion server service is running. I have seen cases where it cannot be started due to things like insufficient memory. Is there a chance that your RAM is less than recommended?

Do you have a server (like IIS) or did you install the
Server that comes with CF? Is the server started?
