coldfusion 10 mandatory update run as root

Is there a way I can apply CF 10 mandatory update without using the root account?

I don't have access to root account in my environment.

I don't think there is a way to do it, UNLESS there is another user added with admin rights.

If you're not the root, you'll have to find one who is and get them to do the update.
