coldfusion 2016 clustering

I have 2 servers in stage setup. Installed Coldfusion in both. My question is

1) I would like to manage both servers using a single admin page URL installed in first server only

2)  If I create a cluster by adding the second server as remote instance, then do I need CFIDE folder in second server?

I am new to coldfusion setup and your suggestions will help me a lot.

Thanks,

Sarath M

Hi Sarath,

You could manage both servers start/stop from the first admin page URL. For accessing details you would be redirected to the URL of the second admin page URL.

CFIDE would be present in the second server along with the installation.

Please let me know if you require further information on the same.

Thank You,

Abhishek

So in that case do we need to update the data source details in both

servers admin page.

I already added the second server as a remote instance and added that in

the cluster.

Data source should be updated in both the instances.
